How Cellulose is Used in Enzyme Production
Enzyme production takes place by fermentation of organic substrates using microorganisms with pre- and post-processes (such as purification and filtration). This is a complex and sensitive biotechnological process.
Our ARBOCEL® Fibers have proven to be particularly suitable for the fermentation process of certain enzymes. Because we understand what is important in these biotechnological processes and have specially adapted our products to this.
Our fibers are also used as auxiliary materials in the further processing of enzymes, e.g. for the granulation of enzymes to produce low-dust or dust-free products.
Our hydrocolloid systems such as HPMC, alginates or cellulose gels are also used in enzyme coating.
